The multi-purpose Blaisdell Arena is a circular performance facility with unobstructed sight lines suitable for concerts, sporting events, large meetings, conventions, consumer shows, family shows and other specialty events.   The seating capacity varies with each event set-up: stage shows with seating in the round can accommodate up to 8,800 patrons and court side events can seat 7,700 persons.

Recent events at the Blaisdell Arena included performances by Elton John, Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, ?N Sync, Lee Ann Rimes and Jimmy Buffett, as well as family entertainment such as Disney on Ice, Sesame Street, college basketball and volleyball, international gymnastics and martial arts exhibitions.
